Recent Events & Development Progress

Last year’s selection event for The Conservatory, Hammock Beach’s first private golf community which will feature a Signature 18-hole course by Tom Watson, was a great success. All 340 golf- and nature-view homesites sold in less than three hours for more than $144 million.

Hammock Beach wrapped up 2005 with beachfront ice skating, where The Club installed a 5,000 square-foot ice rink right on the Grand Lawn, overlooking the ocean!


Upcoming News & Events

2006 will boast a series of landmark moments at Hammock Beach. Yacht Harbor Village will open in the summer, where waterfront dining, a pool area, championship tennis courts, and a 209-slip marina will comprise this charming Mediterranean-style boating community on the Intracoastal Waterway. Fall will bring the grand opening of The Conservatory at Hammock Beach, located near The Club at Hammock Beach. Also opening in the fall are the Ocean Towers condominiums that represent the final phase of the spectacular Club at Hammock Beach. When completed, they will bring another dimension to the private club lifestyle already enjoyed by Members.

Our upcoming ground-floor offering, The Gardens at Hammock Beach, will be the fifth component of the community and is proposed to be released in the fall.  Situated near Bulow Creek in southern Flagler County, The Gardens is surrounded by creeks and wooded areas, and borders the Intracoastal Waterway.  The spectacular 2,000-acre development received approval for 453 single and multifamily homes.  With a Fred Couples Signature 18-hole golf course and other club amenities, The Gardens at Hammock Beach will be one of the most exclusive communities in Northeast Florida.

The Ginn Company has signed a five year agreement to host the Champions Tour--formerly known as the Senior PGA Tour--at The Conservatory at Hammock Beach, with the inaugural Ginn Championship to be held March 26 - April 1, 2007. The tournament will offer a $2.5 million purse--the largest on the tour after the U.S. Senior Open. Next year, tour members will rise to the challenge of this Tom Watson-designed course and players and fans alike will enjoy the amenities and excitement Ginn Clubs & Resorts brings to the table.
